Why sentiment carries the most weight

Recency matters because management changes, ownership changes, and renovations happen, and a review from three years ago may say nothing true about the property today. Completeness matters in a more practical way: a listing missing a working phone number or current hours is harder to act on, no matter how good the reviews are.
Where the data has limits
Any business with few recent reviews gets a low-confidence score, and we label it as such on the listing. A handful of reviews, especially old ones, simply cannot support the same confidence as a deep, current review history.
